Father Figure - Case Study
Overview
Father Figure is a woman-owned independent production company making theater and film in New York and Los Angeles, founded in 2023.
Challenge
They describe themselves as fiercely independent. A tidy production-company template would have said the opposite.
Approach
Working from their brand kit, I built the home page as a Y2K desktop. Each production is a folder showing its status, from in development to released. The manifesto opens in Notepad, and the contact form is a chat window. Productions run through a CMS so the team can add new work.
Outcome
Every production has a home on the site with its status right on the folder, and the team adds new work through the CMS.
